Happy day, picked up my 1919 from Jim at PCS, Inc today. Still kinda POed about the welding.

Ok, got my first bad news today for this project. Seems that my welder guy used the wrong type of rod to do the welds. So I guess I'll just match the park color with some paint and paint the welds.
Here's the the opposite side. The park job does look good.

Got out the hobby paints and matched the color to the park and painted the offending weld marks. Looks OK but would be much happier if the welds were done right.
Check the after paint job pictures to the before pictures above.
This fix came with the kit so my welder buddy is off the hook for this one on the sight.
Should be able to test fire in a couple of days when my day off comes around
