A Little Mood Music Please

From Dave

Next time you sit down to work on a model, why not create a mood with some appropriate music?  If you're like me, you enjoy a little music, or maybe even a talk show as background while modeling.  I usually opt for Classical or light jazz.  I enjoy other kinds of music except for real noisy rock, country, or rap.

I usually work on World War I projects so I guess rag-time or certain German Classics would be appropriate.  I haven't heard any English music hall stuff on radio lately, but certain pieces heard on the Thistle and Shamrock show on National Public Radio might suffice as background whilst working on an REX or Bristol Fighter model.

For you fans of World War II American aircraft or armor, maybe some big band sounds could put you "in the mood".  It may sound corny, but it may really enhance your experience to be working on a B-17 while hearing Glen Miller.  Some great tunes from the early to mid-fifties could be just the ticket for working on century series jets.
